Physical education plays an integral part in our school k-8 curriculum. Physical education gives students the opportunity to lear and master new skills, work as a team in cooperation with peers, lear how to be fit, learning life long skills, and make new friends.
The goal is to provide physical education in an environment that will meet the physical, mental, emotional and social needs through a wide variety of experiences and activities. It is through the utilization of individual and group activities that physical education will foster each student’s growth in personal and social responsibility, fitness, lifetime activities, team sports, and to help students gain a better understanding of body and space awareness.
Through participation, progression will encourage students to stay focused and work hard on the development of fundamental skills. The development of physical education curriculum will enrich leadership qualities that will enable students to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle leading to lifelong health benefits.
