We, the community of St. Thecla Catholic School dedicate ourselves to serving God through our growth in faith, education and love for one another as members of God’s Family!
Give your child the gift of a Catholic Education and allow us to help you! St. Thecla Catholic School has two opportunities for families to receive financial aid/grants. You can receive assistance through the financial aid at the AOD and we also have a tuition grant/assistance program through generous donations that are awarded directly from St. Thecla.
AOD Financial Aid
Who can apply? You must must be an active member of a Catholic Parish with the Archdiocese of Detroit. Your qualifying child/ren must be entering Grade K-12 at a Catholic elementary or high school in the AOD
What is the deadline for submission? Applications must be submitted by April 30, 2022 to be considered for first round. Applications may be submitted after April 30, 2022 for consideration for the 2nd round.
When will I receive a decision? Award letters will be mailed to the applicants, schools and parishes announcing the grant of awards and denials by approximately May 31, 2022.
What is the amount of the AOD grants? AOD grants are tiered. The tiers will be: Tier 1 – $1,100, Tier 2 – $950.00, Tier 3 – $800.00

St. Thecla Catholic Grant/Financial Aid Assistance
Who can apply? Any new or returning families with child/ren entering grades K-8. Applicants must be registered at St. Thecla School before they can be considered for financial aid.
What is the deadline for submission for St. Thecla Grant Assistance? Dates are the same as the AOD deadlines
When will I receive a decision? St. Thecla’s Financial Aid Committee will notify families of tuition assistance award in mid-July.
