Christian Service

The Christian Service Commission is concerned with pursuing parish projects that would assist with issues of hunger, unfair housing, racial discrimination, respect for life issues, or legislation on social justice to name just a few.

The current members of the Christian Service Commission are as follows:

The Christian Service Commission completes a variety of tasks for the community including:

Visiting the Sick & Homebound
Inform the Parish Community about current social justice issues
Meeting the physical needs of our Parish Family, local Community and our brothers and sisters throughout the world
St. Vincent de Paul Society
Sheltering the homeless through MCREST
The Giving Tree during the Advent season
Preparing and serving meals at the Soup Kitchen
Red Cross Blood Drive (twice a year)
Jail Ministry
Hospital Ministry
Meals on Wheels
Right to Life
Compassion Pregnancy
Anti-Death Penalty
Natural Family Planning
Bread of Life (preparing meals for parish families experiencing a need)
Day & evenings Reflections for women
Advent by Candlelight
Intercessory Prayer
Bereavement Ministry
