What is Divine Mercy Sunday?  We have all heard the saying: “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”  Well, Divine Mercy is true and it is great!!  Imagine God’s great forgiveness of all our sins no matter how serious and bad they may be.  In the 1930’s, St. Faustina received messages from the Lord to spread to the whole world about God’s Mercy to all mankind.  St. Faustina received visions and messages from Our Lord through her life.  Jesus asked her to paint an image of Him with red and white rays coming from His garment with the words “Jesus, I Trust in You” written below.  Jesus also asked that the whole world say the Chaplet of Divine Mercy (said at 3pm but may be said anytime).

The St. Thecla Catholic Church is located at 20740 S. Nunneley Rd., Clinton Township, 48035.
